Voss Freeride

Voss and the surroundings offer a great variety of skiing/boarding terrain. The mountains are diverse with big open faces, short steep pitches with fun cliffs, or challenging tree skiing. In the winter there are many options for day ski touring and fun accessible peaks.

Voss Freeride is once again hosting the event as a part of the Norwegian Freeride Cup. This time the popular Norwegian Freeride Cup (NFC) has expanded to six destinations. The following destinations will host Freeride competitions this year; Sogndal 19th – 21st of February, Voss 11th – 14th of March, Hemsedal 18th – 21st of March, Sauda 8th – 11th of April, Røldal 14th – 18th of April and Ørsta 22nd – 25th of April. Last year's edition of Voss Freeride offered nice weather conditions in beautiful surroundings in the mountains of Western Norway! Exact location for this year's competition will be chosen according to snow conditions and safety restrictions. Information about the qualification and final arenas will be given on the riders' meeting on Thursday and Friday evening.
