Overview
Skydive Voss (Voss Fallskjermklubb) was founded in 1978 and today Skydive Voss is one of the most active clubs in Norway. Skydive Voss is located in Bømoen, approximately 3 km outside the town centre. The club house has accommodation for 40 people (and it’s being renovated this winter). The club rents an airplane in the main season, which is from May to September, and between 12 000 - 15 000 jumps are conducted every summer.
The club offers tandem jumps all summer, and this is a great way to get a taste of skydiving. If you want to become a skydiver we offer skydiving courses almost weekly through the summer.
During Vinterveko 2010 we’ll have activity at Bømoen from Friday the 12th – Sunday the 14th. In corporation with Bergen FSK we’ll have jumping for students and certified skydivers (no AFF jumping). Skydive Voss will also offer tandem jumps.
We’ll try to arrange an innhopp one of the days during Vinterveko either in correlation with Voss Freeride or the Big Air competition. Time and location for the innhopp is TBA.
