Ski touring

Voss and the surroundings offer a great variety of skiing/boarding terrain. The mountains are diverse with big open faces, short steep pitches with fun cliffs, or challenging tree skiing. In the winter there are many options for day ski touring and fun accessible peaks.

The mountains in and around Voss are great for ski touring, and we would like to invite you to join us during Vinterveko. The destinations will depend on the weather and snow conditions, and information will be given closer to Vinterveko.

You need to have your own equipment such as randonee skis/Telemark, snowshoes (if you are a snowboarder), avalanche probe, beacon and shovel. In addition to equipment we recommend to bring warm/cold drinks and food.

The ski tours are social and fun and will be lead by local, ridiculously good looking, men and women!

Note: This is not a guided tour, but a social gathering for back country skiers, who would like to get to know the areas around Voss.
